Social Distancing
I’m aware of the agony couples are feeling as you have to change your wedding date, venue and even vendors due to COVID-19. Social distancing is honestly the only way to fight the Coronavirus. Sad, but true. It’s necessary to make these hard sacrifices and adjustments to stop the spread of the pandemic.
Instead of canceling your wedding and/or event, strongly consider postponing and rescheduling your celebration. Many venues and vendors are willing to move events to a different date within the 2020 calendar year. Yes, Saturdays may not be readily available, but consider a Friday, Sunday or even Thursday. Trust me when I say, your family and guests will adjust and remaining excited about pending nuptials.
Should you need to reschedule your date, consider sending out a mailer using the language below:
Couple’s Name - WE ARE STILL GETTING MARRIED!
We hope this message finds you and your family healthy and safe. As our new normal changes daily, we may have to reschedule the wedding celebration. We will keep you updated via email but also check our wedding website regularly at www.domainname.com. Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to celebrating with you! xo
Normalcy will return. Social Distancing will forever change how we view our neighbor, but when it comes to love it always fills the atmosphere whether you are near or far apart.
Until next time WEDologize!
